1970 f100 different drag link power vs non power steering
converting from manual steering to power. Got all the parts column, pump, bracket etc. being told that the drag link is different? only see one listed in parts catalogs?

I used what was on the truck before the switch and it works fine. Maybe they're thinking of the pitman arm? I've read where some people have had to change that.

I believe the difference is as relates to Bendix vs Saginaw P/S boxes.http://www.fordification.com/tech/str-s ... ations.htm I, too, just swapped boxes and columns and used the same drag link.
