Possible Vapor Lock
So I am fighting what appears to be vapor lock on my 68 f250 with a 360. I went and got some heat shields for the fuel lines. Should I wrap the steel line going from the fuel pump to the carb or just the rubber fuel lines? Also, I got a heat shield to wrap the fuel pump or the starter...which one should I wrap? Am I wasting my time? Any suggestions on a spacer for my carb? I have a stock 2 barrel carb...do they even make spacers for those? Trying to get things cooled down.

Re: Possible Vapor Lock
First, tell us what's going on. Why do you feel it's vapor lock? What is the engine temp when symptom occurs?
I have never had a problem with my FE's and both have AC in Florida with nothing on the fuel lines or starter.
