Problems while applying brakes

This is to discuss about some issues with my truck. Its a 2007 model Ford power stroke engine. I bought it before 6 months. Now when I apply brakes, a strange sound is coming from the front wheels. Also I feel like the vehicle is going out of control while braking. I don't know what the actual problem is. 2 months ago I have done a wheel alignment check up. So I don't think this is something related to alignment. What are the other possibilities?
