This pickup has coil springs in the REAR.
It's a F100.
It has 5 leaf springs with additional helper/overload leaf.
It's really pretty stiff. I loaded my 700 pound motorcycle on and it barely even dropped. Pretty sure previous or original owner had a camper on it.
Here's the deal,, The coils which are inboard from the leafs are perched on the axle tubes and on the frame. These FRAME perch/mounts are RIVETED to the frame as if they are factory installed. The lower perch is U-bolted and at least one side looks to be undercoated.
Anyone ever known F series truck to have original equipment rear coils?
I'm not planning on heavy hauling and will probably remove the coils if not the OL leaf too.
In the future I plan a 3"/4" lowering kit installation.

The riveted mount above the coil spring is the factory bumpstop mount. The bumpstop is inside the top of your added coil springs. I'd remove the coil spring and added lower mount with ubolt.
It's hard to tell from the pics if the leaf spring overload is the factory one or not, but it does look upside down to me.

You may have an F100 Camper Special. 1967 was the last year Ford offered them.

The way the last pic shows the front of the spring pack, it also looks like the spring pack is made of various F250 and F100(thick and thin) leaves. That's actually what I've done with my truck to get the height and ride I want at the same time. F250 springs for 67 at least are thicker, less tapered on the ends and have less free arch. The F100 springs I have are later models, around 70-72, and have pads on the ends.

Yeah the camera can see in the dark! I see the bump stop in the pic. Too dark in real life.
Here's a pic of the leaf spring setup. If it's still too stiff when I delete the rear coils I may remove the overload leaf too.

That bottom leaf actually looks like an aftermarket helper spring that has been turned upside down and put below the pack, instead of on top. They normally go on top of the pack and the ends clamped. Who knows with that one!
