rims for a lowered 72 f250

I have a 72 F250 that I am fixing up and I want to put some aftermarket rims on it. My question is how wide can I go in the rear without having to tube out the wheel wells? I have 13.5" of space and I would like to put on 10" wide rims, how much space do I have to allow for the rubber and where do I find that kind of info. Also I want to either do 18" or 20" rims, is 20" gonna leave me enough room for rubber? I realize I will need to use a spacer, how thick? Was wondering what some of you guys might have on your lowered trucks and if I could see any pics of what they look like? Thanks in advance.
