OT: Shift collar for a Galaxie same as a bump?

Post by sargentrs »

Trying to help out a friend of mine with a '65 Galaxie with a 3OTT column. He needs a 3 speed manual shift collar for his column and has been unable to find one. Is the same as the bump? I can find those a couple of different places. Anybody know for sure? Thanks guys!

MAK, my friend confirms that the collars are the same for both the Galaxie and a bump. He actually has both vehicles. PM sent.

PM replied. I have to get home and see if I have it here or up at my cabin. Pretty sure I brought my column parts back to the house.
