I'd like to start a thread with Crown Vic IFS facts.
Seems like allot of misc info gets strewn through various threads and I see allot of misinformation.
Not to mention the dozens of threads on the swap.
Lets drop a few facts in a sticky and possibly eliminate a bunch of reposts.
For instance what year crown vic front ends can be swapped into a F100?
What issues to look for on these cradles?
What parts are required?
Weight?
Width?
Brakes?
Wheels?
Bolt pattern options?
etc. etc.

Re: Crown Vic IFS facts
I'll start.
The aluminum cradle (especially from the police crown vics) are prone to cracks between the engine pedestal mounts.
This is due to hard use. So if your pulling it from a wreck be sure to inspect it closely.
