kingpin kit question?

Post by canadiancobra »

Just ordered kingpin kit and wondering if I should have 2 or 4 grease seals? I have 4 grease caps but only 2 seals? Is this correct as I cant seem to find a schematic online!

Thanks John

Two grease seals (lil metal rings with an inner rubber lip) is correct. The grease caps go on top and under the spindle. You should also have four zerk fittings, two locking pins & corresponding nuts, and a sealed packet of shims.

:yt: There's a little groove cut into the spindle that it sits in. Rubber seal points down, shims go on bottom of I-beam to push the I-beam up to meet the seal.
