There are creaking and cracking noises coming out of my steering column when I turn the wheel. I understand there are 2 bearings in the column. How hard is it to replace them? Does the column need to come out to do this?
With these symptoms do you think it is the bearings? And can you give me tips in replacing them.
My truck is a 1970 F350 but the column is from a 71 or 72...
