1972 F-100 steering gear

I have a 72 F-100 that needs a new steering gear. The only info I can see on the existing steering gear is C6AR, 3580-A2. How can I verify that I can find the correct part? Most all shops can no longer get a new steering gear for this truck.

LMC Truck sells a gear that they note as Ford steering gear with 2-bolt side cover. What does this mean? Will it fit my truck? The sales person could not tell me.
