Crown vic lower strut mount size

Post by 48prerunner »

I'm working with ridetech to see if they can put together a shockwave that will fit the crown vic front suspension. I don't really want to pull mine apart to get measurements. Would anybody know the size of the lower mount that way they can see what bushings would be needed. Also if anybody has a pic of the front strut upper mount disassembled. Thanks

The lower arm mount/bushing assembly is available from O'Reilly Auto Parts but, the site doesn't list the dimensions on the lower CV bushing size.

You might talk to your local parts house about getting the mount so you can take measurements from it and they'll just send it back afterwards. At least my local store has done this for me on some parts from time to time. You could ask. The worst thing they could do is say, no.

Report back what Ridetech has to say please. I had zero luck dealing with them through email

Last they said is if I knew where they could pick up an inexpensive crown vic front crossmember for mock up.
