Does anybody know if the shift collar off a 65-66 mustang would fit? I have some somewhere I'l have to look tomorrow has been a few years that I've played with the mustangs but seems like it looked the same and I found this link.

Thanks I had looked at that one was really cool but could not get past the $80 price tag, they also make a painted version for like $64 so looked in the garage I remembered taking a 66 mustang column apart back in 1986 and my lucky day the collar was sitting right on the shelf.

Now i just have to figure out the screw size that bolts it to the upper part of the column with the turn signal lever.

So the mustang column collar and a dentside column collar are the same thing. Pretty sure the screw size a #6 measured it is 7/8" long from below the head to the end. They are sheet metal type screw not a machine screw. I took apart a dent side column to find out only difference between it and the ebay pic is the screws were black.
