1970 no,you have to remove it to mount the relay behind the cluster. The whole deal takes maybe and hr if that. makes driving in the rain great though. I get angry when it rains and I'm driving something other than my truck now.

I didn't take out the cluster. I mounted the relay on the pedal hanger. Nice and out of the way of everything. Had to use a little bitty air drill to drill the hole though. Not much room. If a person wasn't too particular you could just zip tie it up there somewhere.

I guess I should have read that, I haven't got around to putting in the washer resevoir. I guess I'll have to change the wire around so the pump will work. I got mine from an '81 f350.
I also had to file the flat spot out of the dash hole so I could turn the switch a little for clearance.

My setup is ready and waiting to go into the truck, as soon as I get the new wiring harness. Thanks spdf68. It's just sitting on the floor begging to be put in. Now I can't wait to do this reading these posts. Wish me luck guys. Hopefully I won't blow anything else up replacing the harness.

I'm still just an idiot. And yes, Heep, I have the battery out of the truck.

Thanks Flyboy :) appreciate the thought. Just kills me to look out the front window and see her growing moss. That truck runs so unbelievably well that 5 seconds of duh!! and I'm done for the summer. I'll be covering her up for the winter soon.
