Hello, i´m so sorry, my english is very, very bad,
but i want to dialogue with some members that speak spanish. Body (metalshaper) and paint is my job.
In june of 2003 started a complete restoration of 1968 f-100 part by part, in this moment the body and wash primer are finished (dp40 and prima of ppg). and to start the paint and assemble.
our progect is make a customized pick-up.
maybe the colour will be: blue and iron gray (light) but i dont know how to design the line or combinatiom of them.
I think to make the front like mustang 1967. (like re-design of 2005.) with two air doors in the cover (capot)

I think that the "fordification" webpage are very wanderfull. but i´m very sad because i´m don´t know the lenguage,
and i can´t are in person to see their works.

por ello estoy buscando miembros que hablen español
yo trabajo en carroceria y pintura.
en junio de 2003 comence (para un cliente) una reparacion completa de una f100 1968 parte por parte.
en este momento esta terminada de carroceria y base. estoy empezando la pintura y armado
la idea es hacerla personalizada.
tal vez el color sea azul y plateado, pero no sabemos como sera el diseño de la combinacion entre ellos.
pienso hacerle un frente que asimile al mustang 1967 (al estilo del rediseño del 2005) con dos tomas en el capot
estoy maravillado, asombrado de lo exelente que es la pagina y la comunicacion entre ustedes, pero muy muy apenado por no manejar el idioma o poder estar en persona viendo sus trabajos y compartiendo experiencias.

Hola reibaj! En que estado esta Lincoln? Puede pone algunas fotos de su 68 f100 en este sito para ver su projecto? Yo vivo en Texas y tengo una 1967 f100 con motor orignal 352 fe. Mi f100 teine pintura nueva y es de double tono azul y blanco y la uso todos los dias. Casi visito este sitio todos los dias para ver que hay de nuevo en los forums. No se cuantos aqui hablan espanol pero deve de aver algunos en ste sito.

hola, gracias por tu respuesta en español (de ingles algo etiendo, pero a veces no entiendo nada y no se si me hago entender bien)...
Yo vivo en Lincoln, Argentina (es decir en sudamerica). En argentina, si bien hay muchos fanaticos de estas pick-up (y de lo autos en general) es muy dificil encontrarce con tanta gente en internet que comparta tanto. Por otro lado, si bien aca hay muchos artesanos tradicionales que manejan perfectamente el metal y la mecanica, pero no hay tanto esmero en lograr trabajos perfectos o explorar nuevas tecnicas o conocimientos. Tambien es muy dificil y costoso conseguir partes muy especificas de vehiculos de mas de 10 años, por ello llevamos al limite la artesania en estas restauraciones.
Hoy escaneo las fotos y trato de publicarlas

disculpe las prequntas pero estoy muy curioso de los autos Ford de Argentina.

Aqui en los E.U. estas camionetas se hiceron en 67 y asta los 72, pero En Sur America se hiceron asta los 80 no?

Oye rebaj que motor es el que esta pintando? es un V8? un diesel?

Las camoinetas de Argentina (y Sur America ) son muy differentes que los de que estan en los Estados Unidos si nos puedes hacer favor de informar a este sitio web mas de las camionetas de Argentina sera fantastico!

Rebaj puede usted tomar mas fotos de las camionetas de Argentina? Aqui los fanaticos de este sitio estan emocionados de las camoietas de Argentina porque son muy differentes del las camoetas de los Estados Unidos. Pero tambein se aparce que usan las mismas partes.

Wow! hasta 1995! Aqui en los E.U. los motors para estas camionetas eran de gas:

Aqui el gas esta a $2.38 por gallon ( en mi pueblo) y estos motores de estas camientas tenen mucha fuerza pero toman mucho gas. A mi me cuesta $30.00 para llenar mi camioneta. Que tal estan los precios de gas en Lincoln?

Y cuanto cuesta una camioneta f1000 hoy en buena condicion del ano 1995?

Aqui en este sito web seimpre hay gente que busca partes para estas camionetas classicas, usted sabe si hay problema en mandar partes desde Argentina a los Estados Unidos?

La frente de dos luces (grille) de la f1000 en la foto que publico le puede quedar a nuestras camionetas del 67-72 sin problemas o son totalmente differentes?
Pregunto porque me interesa obtener una porque aqui no hay frentes de dos luces (grille) en los E.U. y tener algo asi sera algo muy raro aqui.

Ademas usted pude hacer un poco de dinero si se anima vender algunas partes para estas camionetas Ford a nosotros(vostros) aqui en los E.U..

Aqui no hay problema yo le ayude con el ingles en este sitio solo no tenga pena. Aqui en Texas la mayoria de gente son latinos y hay muchos que no saben hablar o escribire el ingles pero lo entinden muy bein. Ademas aqui en los E.U. hay muchos latinos que viven aqui sin saber hablar el idioma bein, pero con teimpo se van coceindo el idioma y asi es como la hacen aqui en los E.U..

Oye y si te animas a venier a los E.U.?

Well our friend reibaj from Argentina tells me that he does body work and paint he also is currently working on a customers 1968 f100 and he also mentoned that there are a lot of fanatics of these trucks in Argintina and (South America) and is just amazed at how awsome this site is because of the great intrest in these old classics by our members.

In the photo he is painting a Toyota engine that is diesel (95hp) he has
also preped,primed,painted and clearcoated various engine parts.
A Ford 292 will be repaired and rebuilt for use in the near future. Also mentioned was that some specific parts for models over 10 years an be costly so great skill and presicion is taken to the limit to do complete restorations.
he also mentioned that the 67-72 f100 that came out in the U.S. also came out there also,and keep being built until 1995 while the new models were still coming out. Every thing in the trucks improved and changed except for the body and chasis. The F-1000's in Argentina were called "punta de daimante" (diamond point)

He plans on informing us more on the Argentina models in the near future.

Joe thats a really sharp looking F100 (Betty), I also have the moon shields on my lights. I had the same looking rear bumper but changed it to the chrome stock looking one. Got any pics of the powerplant? Yes that was just a brief summary of what we are talking about, next time I'll do a full translation on his next post. I promise.
