wet feet! and insulation too...
Wondered if anyone out there would know the cause of water intrusion into the cab during rain? I checked the evap. hoses on the A/C and the heater core is not leaking. OBTW, the water came from just sitting in the rain, not by way of forced intrusion, like driving in rain. Any help or ideas are welcomed. Thanks.

happycamper,
Maybe try a water hose test of the following:
Windshield wiper pivot gaskets
Hood to cowl gasket
Steering column to firewall gasket
Clutch rod gasket
Cab light gaskets
Windshielg gasket
Rear window gasket
Have someone spray around those areas, while you're in the truck with a flashlight.
Hope it helps.

I put new cowl lacing on mine, then ran a bead of clear silicon caulk along the back edge of it. No more leaks.
Someone put a piece of door weatherstripping along the back edge of the hood. They said it works really well.

I did the hose test and saw that my wiper gaskets leak... Someone should do a "how to" on it.

Re: wet feet! and insulation too...
its as easy as replacing a gasket with another gasket. i have read where some have just used a silicone or something like that to keep it from leaking there.

Doug, please no....I'm looking at mine. And have the new gaskets, (just not the time to do it)!Someone should do a "how to" on it.

1) Pull the glove box out
2) Pull the stereo out
3) Pull the heater controls out
4) Pull the wiper blades out
5) Unbolt the wiper linkage
4) stand on your head for an hour

I'm procrastanating again...

Re: wet feet! and insulation too...
HAhaha... I guess I am a little different! My truck is pulled all apart and I could see where it was leaking very easy. Since it is apart, I am fixing the rust, cleaning out all body seams and filling them with POR15 and am going to replace the floor pans.
