carpet (other years)?

does anyone know if the carpets from any other year truck will fit?
and...how much modification?

i have to take out the old deep pile shag that was so groovy in the 70's

That stuff would go good with my bell bottom pants!
I don't know if I'd bother with used carpet.
New stuff is sold by lots of vendors and made to fit your truck. Not to mention color choices.
Personally, I'd go with new stuff.

The floor pan is the same to 79. The only difference you will find is a taller transmission tunnel on C6 auto and four speed equipped trucks. This is accomplished with a plate bolted on the tunnel to make more room for the bigger transmissions.

Go with new and for our year they sell them at a lot of places.
