I want to install a cdplayer in my 68 and I saw this thing on the "Did You Know?" banner that said you could use a volvo bezel or something like that. Does anyone have any insite on, pictures of parts? Please let me know.

(quote)You can install a CD player into your truck's slanted dash by using a DIN radio installation kit #99-9222 for a '75-'93 Volvo and flipping the mounting piece upside down and attaching it to the bent-back ears in your dash, allowing the stereo to sit perfectly horizontal in the dash opening.

re: Radio Mount
Hi,
You can get the Volvo install kit at any Best Buy for about 16-18 bucks. I've installed one in my 68 and it worked out great. Bent the ears back and slid it in. I didn't attach the cage to the ears as it was pretty snug anyway. Mine sticks out a bit on the bottom, but not very noticable and I think it looks better out a little. Maybe one of these days I'll get to attaching it.
