stock FE 360 and 390 Rev limit.

Post by freeline95 »

Hey guys I just bought a points eliminator kit that crane makes for my 360 and it mounts directly inside my distributor. It has a rev limiter on it and I was wondering what the specs on a 360 are for the safe rpm range and the max rpm range so I can set it to where it need's to be so I don't over rev my truck. I was also wondering about a 390 because I'm thinking about putting one on it to.

I know that someone will answer so Thanks in Advanced

Here is a link to the kit in case anyone else is interested. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... N-750-1700

ide set it for no higher than 4300. Thats pretty much the max. anything over that is pointless. also it may depends on when you like to shift to. if you tend to hot rod it and its an auto. you can set it to the rpm you want it to shift at and it will hit the limiter and shift
