Transfercase on my '69?

Post by 04stangman »

There is no diagram on my '69 transfer case stating where the gear locations are. I think all the way forward is 4lo, then 1 down is 2wd, 1 more down is neutral then all the back is 4high? The guy that had the truck before me said that he put newer transfer case from a late 70's. My concern is that transfer case shift pattern does not seem to make much sense to me? Am I wrong on what I think the gear location is? Any help would help me a Sh$# load.

the pattern you have is most likely correct. i am guessing you have a np205 since it was swapped in.
