Hello from Brazil!

Post by ZOEGA »

Hi people!

My name is Lucas, I'm a brazilian F100 lover :D

Its been a few months that i bought my 1979 F100 without engine and gearbox. Now I'm restoring everything, including a y-block 292cid and a 3spd manual gearbox that i've bought after the truck.

Here in Brazil, those models of the F100 were made between 1971 and 1986. Today its hard to see a V8 running on a F100, most the trucks here run with diesel engines.

Well, i'll stop writing and post some pictures, lol.

This its a 74 302 v8, belongs to a friend, second owner, air conditioned, 3spd auto, beautiful truck!

Ok, thats it...
I will post more pics of the whole restoring process.
Sorry about any mistake of writing :D

See ya!

WOW, lots of great pictures. Don't worry about your writing, it's better then some of us here in the States.
I noticed the fuel filler is in the back of the bed. Is that standard? I wonder if those tanks are available on Brazil eBay. :? Ours are on the side of the cab, because the tank is behind the seat. There were options to have a second tank, but it was under the middle of the truck and the filler was in front of the back wheels. They also had a rare option where the tank was deleted from behind the seat and only the one under the truck was used.
