Glasspacks suck. Turbo mufflers are the same price and don't sound like crap.

I just don't like the sound of straight pipes. I just need some sort of muffler on it.

I fired my 350 for the first time yesterday after I got it home and those two Cherry bombs reminded me what it was like to not have any hearing From collector to turn down the pipes are 48 inches they exit right behind the cab. I think I get away with them becuse the truck looks like it needs help so they take pity on me.

Never glass packs again. Cheap Turbo mufflers for the work truck from now on.

right now its straight pipes to 16 inch "truck tips". I hate the look, the sound, its terrible. I got on it last time I drove it and it was raspy/bubbly/terrible sounding, but still sounded like a small block all at once. we don't have inspections other than tail light/brake lights/head lights/blinkers.

Glasspacks only sound good on a 64 Impala.

Do yourself a BIG favor and go with Turbo muffler's.

You'll be glad you did.

Dang, this is the frist time I have ever disagreed with you guys. I run shortie glasspacks on my 100 and my daily driver (1989 Bronco 5.8L with 5speed). I have very little noise in the cab being that the exhaust is a rear dump exhaust. I can't say to much though, my frist exhaust mod I ever made way back on my frist 100 was to put a turbo tube muffler on it. Man I wish I could still find them things, they took up the same space as a glasspack but did sound better. :hn:

I have glasspacks on my 71 ford f100 and you cant even tell I have them on going down the road. My friend passed me one day and he said thay sound really deep. But when you drive it you cant tell there on. How ever in town when some guy pulls up by me and gives me hell then I just gun it and later on thay will see me and say there sorry to me sense it was so loud lol
