Hello
I am curious is any one has any info on the picture I have attatched. I am assuming that it for trailer brakes but am confused why it says max min. The other question is if it is for trailer brakes can I disconnect it without to many problems occurring. I realize I would have to either plug the brake line off the master cylinder or get a new outlet for the from brake lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You in advance.

Looks like a trailer brake to me.
If it ties into the brake line, most of them just came with a "T" which you can remove then simply screw the existing brake line back into the master cylinder. (Then Bleed obviously)
Min>Max just adjust the sensitivity so that you can taylor the trailer brakes to the load.

It is for trailer brakes.
As you apply your truck brakes, the unit causes the trailer's electric brakes to apply. The trailer should brake just a little more than the tow vehicle hence the max/min. If the trailer does not brake it can whip around when the tow vehicle brakes which is not a good thing. Have run many miles without trailer brake and not had a problem, but there is always the first time. You have to drive at least 1/2 mile ahead of where you are anticipating the worst and reacting accordingly.
