what tools and process do i need so i can take the front springs and cut them so i can lower it.what should i do to lower my whole truck 5 or alittle bit more inches.if you have picture it will be very very usefull thanks.

If you want more than 2 inches in the front, you'll need drop I-beams. They give you three inches. With shorter springs that gives you five. As for the rear. I can tell you how I'm doing it. I've flipped the front hangers and it dropped it almost 6 inches and all I have to do is get a set of pinion correction shims to correct the angle. It's only cost me $10 in grade 8 hardware so far.

You're not going to be able to lower your truck 5+ inches by cutting the springs. Any more than about 2" and you're going to run into camber problems, and the only way of compensating for that is to bend the I-beam...but finding a shop to do it correctly might be difficult.

For the amount you want to lower your truck, you're going to have to go with drop beams or a Mustang II suspension kit....or graft the front suspension setup from another vehicle, like a full-size Ford/Mercury car.

so you basically used the stock hanger but you flipped them!!!!would you have any pics of the process???

great...sounds pretty good...your talking about them triangular shaped looking shims right....how many did you use???

That's them. I haven't got em yet. I have to wait until the engine and tranny are in so I can measure the correct angle. Basically all you do is get the angle off the back of the tranny and set your pinion angle to the same. You just order them at the correct degree angle you need Here are the pictures...
