Is it possible for a '72 Ranger XLT to come from the factory with 4 wheel drum brakes? I am told that is what the truck I am going to get this weekend has, but I'm skeptical (the guy I am buying it from doesn't know a box end from a ratchet, no insult to him, but he doesn't). I figure being a Ranger XLT, and a '72, surely it has front disks?
Anyone know? Any information is appreciated.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Right, disc brakes weren't even available on F100s until '73.

OK. That's a drag, but I was half-expecting it. As far as F-100/F-150 goes, it could be either one? I'll find out soon enough, but curiousity is getting the best of me.

It ain't gonna be an F150, 'cause those didn't come along until '75.
Just count the lugnuts. 5 on each wheel means it's an F100, 8 means it's an F250.
