Gas fumes from gas cap
Hello, few years back i replaced my gas tank with the non emissions tank and removed the charcoal canister, i bought a lmc vented gas cap, but seems lately im getting more gas fumes filling the garage, especially when i fill the tank as i did tonight, i want to have the tank full for winter storage, in my heated garage, no issues in the past few winters but i want to be safe... any ideas, maybe a non vented cap only for storage? Thank you, kevin

My 71 f250 has both a non vented tank & a non vented gas cap and all is good.

Something ain't right. Charcoal canister plugged up on my evap/emissions gas tank with a non-vented cap and the truck would act like it ran out of gas when the tank got to halfway. Fuel tank has to be vented or cap has to be vented.Delta Bob wrote:My 71 f250 has both a non vented tank & a non vented gas cap and all is good.
