I have a 1972 F-250 CS RWD 390/C6 and i just received my new front coils spring. (Moog 8228). The new springs are lower and thinner then the old ones.
Old springs:
Bar diameter: 19mm (0,72-0,75") Free height 18" Inside diameter 4"
New springs:
Bar diameter: 16-17mm (5/8?) Free height 16" Inside diameter 4"
The truck's doorplate says 6900 lb max....
I hope someone can help me with the correct part #.
