Ford 8.8" rear end model 825M, 3.55:1 ratio, Traction-Lok differential. The rear end was assembled at the Van Dyke plant on the 11th day of December, 2001.Chris93xl wrote:I have a 2002 I have rear diff cover off and can see my spider gears are toast but I'm unable too look at the differential tag and decode it ant help would be much appreciated ty in advance. I am having trouble identifying the rear axle in my 1996 F250 XLT. I have search high an low for the bom but cannot located it. The rear diff tag on it reads (S 129 N) (4.10 10 2 6C21) I do know it's 4.10 gears and ten inch rear end but Id like to know more information about it. Is it a Dana product and what weight oil does it request... IM not positive but think it is conventional and not limited slip.
