I picked up a 1971 Ford F100 LWB w/ a 360FE a few weeks back.
Work has been slow ( I freelance in film Biz) lately so thanks to the threads/posts by the
wonderful folks here on this website I was able to do quite few fixes the past couple
of weeks.
Just to name a few....
Front shocks, springs and radius arm bushings
Turn signal switch
Flush radiator
Plugs, Carb rebuild, new vacuum lines and tune up (done with timing light and vacuum gauge)
Booster and MC and full brake fluid flush
Rag joint
Washer fluid pump
Valve Cover gaskets
Door locks
and a few other misc things
Also had the local transmission shop do all the tranny seals and gaskets so I'm pretty much leak
free now.
Next couple of projects are new brakes and hardware at all four corners and getting this AM radio
I picked up on Ebay installed and working.
Here's a few pics of the truck. My plan is to keep the faded exterior patina but upgrade/fix everything
else including the interior. My 7 yr old son loves it since he gets to sit up front. We take it to all his
hockey practices so he calls it the hockey truck. My 13 yr old daughter calls it the junk truck.
I look forward to reading, posting and contributing when I can. Last pic is my daily driver, sorry guys,
it's a Mopar, new Mustang is just too small to be practical for me.
