Coil spring height

Pulled the coil springs on 67 f100 to do some other work and noticed there is a half inch difference. Is this a big deal?

I think the NAPA site lists them as left and right with different height measurements. I know sometimes the manufacturers will put different ones in based on whether or not the vehicle has air conditioning, side mounted fuel tanks etc.

I ordered moog brand and both sides measured the same in length, but I do know that one is suppose to be taller. Might be wrong but I think the taller goes on left to compensate for the engine off centered to right

The left one was the taller one but when i jacked it up the right took longer to get off the ground.

Same here, ordered the moog springs and both are the same height. I seem to recall that Keith posted that the passenger side was taller. Wonder if these are the OK http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mog-cc808
