Which Master cylinder
I need to replace the master cylinder on my '69 F250 Camper Special. I have manual drum brakes all around. On rockauto.com I found two types of MC's. One with a 1" bore and another one with 1 1/4" bore. Does anyone know, which one I need? I know, I could take it apart to measure it, but I don't want to take it apart and out it back together until I have the new part.

Re: Which Master cylinder
The 1 inch bore will give you more pressure with less volume
the 1 1/4 inch bore will give more volume with slightly less pressure
My "guess" would be the 1 inch for drums and the 1 1/4 for drum/disc

Re: Which Master cylinder
Just to help, I found mine at advanced auto for $20 for a reman one. I haven't had a problem with it. I was able to pick it up a day later from the store. I'm not sure what rock auto is charging but just another option. Good luck with the replacement
