1967 F100 Manual to Power Steering Conversion

Post by tomezrider »

I'm in the last stages of converting my 67 f100 from manual to power steering. I purchased a power steering conversion kit that has a Saginaw box (part # D7TZ-3550-BA) and bought a new IDIDIT power steering column. Everything went in like clock work, except for the fact that I'm unsure of what pitman arm to use. Also not sure if I have to change the steering tie rod to accept the power steering pump...

Has anyone any idea or attempted a similar swap?

I did a conversion using a Bendix box and needed a different Pitman arm but the rest of the suspension was fine and did not need to change any other parts.
