Huh? The fittings are two different sizes. Plus the pressure line has a fitting on each end. How did you manage to do that?

I had custom hoses made to fit. I had to get them remade again.

jp2005, how does it drive with the Saginaw compared to the old Ford/Thompson pump?

I swapped to the Saginaw on the 68 CS, the feel is better.

Its really smooth with Saginaw pump, Im thinking about switching my new truck to this pump. I read a story where a guy drive close to 3,000 miles with no fluid in pump, so there pretty bullet proof. I guess the engineering was better when they were made over ford pump.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to start shopping for brackets to mount one on my FE and do the swap sometime. If anyone has any suggestions for a FE bracket please let me know.

That's a good article. I wondered if there would be fitting differences. The pump in this article had a female vs. male issue.

I'm going to add a Saginaw to my list of things to do.

Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in garages. (Apologies to Kenneth Grahame.)
