Big ol' dent

Post by Great90wt »

Looking for suggestions on how to fix this dent. My '67 is all torn apart, right now I have the bed upright in my barn and I'm trying to fix the dent over the driers side wheel well. It's the one big thing that was wrong with the truck when I got it. The truck is something not seen much in Michigan, a rust free body. Thank you Arizona! Anyway, I've got two pics in my gallery of the dent. Right now I've cut the well well out for the back so I have unrestricted access to the body side from inside the bed. Any ideas? Right now I'm just beating the heck out of if trying to work the rough shape back to normal.

put a 2x4 on the inside of the bed at the top and beat on that working downward. being that the lower half took an impact also that is going to be harder to fix. that is where my bed is dented right in the beltline. and i'm not sure how to get that dent out.
