oxidation on grill

how do i get my grill to get the chrome shine back... it is an original 68 camper special grill that is very dull... what chemicals do i need to get the shine back

Have you tried wading compound? It works fair I'd say. Not as good as stripping off the anodized coating and getting it buffed out and recoated.
Former owner of 70 LB SportCustom and a 71 SB SportCustom. Looking for a replacement bump!

Re; how to buff out an aluminum grill;
did any one ever try a buffing wheel on a grinder with some polishing compound? Seems like an obvious answer. Doesnt this work on those aluminum grilles?
