lowering?

i plan on swapping from 8 lug to 5 lug on my truck. i also want to lower the front of my truck a little (rake). has anyone ever bought the lowering kit from lmc?

I think I saw that LMC is now selling dream beams. If that is what you are looking at then you may want to shop around a bit, I know summit Racing also carries them and I believe at a lower price. There was thread a few months back on this topic, and people listed where they bought their drop beams from.

hey guys the owner before me jsut pulled the rear leafs to lower the 69 f100 , now i only have to leafs in the back and they are pretty bent ,do you know what kind of srings i should look for to bring tit back up? thx

they are originally called flexomatic springs for the rear leafs.

if i were to buy new ones would i look for fexomatic or some size?

when looking fo rnew ones you will want the gvw of the truck plus the year and model engine all of that. plus you will wna to measure the width of the springs you have and the length between the rear sping hangers where the bolts are. because you probably wont be able to find any from what i have heard. and will have to get some sort of interchange or custom thing . i am unclear if you can get new ones or not though.
