I really thought about running 10" wide rims on my 72' 2wd F350 with 33x12.5 tires... what Im hearing/reading is that they might not work well on the truck?? Can something be changed for it to handle the 10" wide wheels and have the front end last?

I'm running 15X10's on all four corners on my truck. I have street tires (295/50/15)though, not as tall as yours. They measure 13" wide at the tread and no rubbing.

should work then with 16x10 then.... what you running for backspacing, nothing wearing out excessively? I will also be putting the 5" lift on the front and level it out in the back so dont think I will have rubbing if that will be the only problem... Then probably will get the 79' front calipers etc... for the brakes on the front.
