If someone can pick me and my wife up at a nearby small airport, we are thinking about loading up and flying down. I talked to her last night and I told her that since she's dragged me to countless hair shows (she's a cosmetologist) she better be ready to go to some car shows.

We'll see what my work schedule is like and if I can get the plane or not! But if I can, I'm definitely in.

You can put Tahoe Wrecker and I down as 'sorta-kinda-maybe'... he & my daughter are expecting my first grandkid in early June, so either we'll be preoccupied with that, or we'll be looking for somewhere to go to escape the madness!

Alright, well Doug let me know if you are going to be able to go. I have to get my charts out but I think there is an airport closer to Tahoe... I guess I just need to get on that

Most smaller airports have courtesy cars but that depends on how close I can get to where the event is. So if it is decided, I need to know where and what day this is going to happen in order to get the plane and time off.

umm, if i remeber correctly there is a diner just south of harahs? or perhaps we could all just meet at the emerald bay lookout and go from there.

hmmm did some research on Emerald bay, but seems everyone says that parking is crazy bad. thats from reviews, never been there myself.

after 40 min. of searching, this is the best i came up with...

its 2 hour drive for me, the 71 most likely wont be there because of gas prices. but if noone else can bring there bumps, i may bring mine for some conversation
