Hello,
Ever since i found this site i dont feel so alone in the bumpside world, i have become very excited about my project and in the past week alot has been done in the way of collecting parts and trying to figure out what i truly want.
My final decision is that i will keep my 70 f100 2wd shortbed a 2 wheel drive rather than converting it to 4wd as i had planned originally.
So today i bought a new 9" third member with 4.10 posi and a remanufactured c6 set up for street/strip with a lower first and second gear, mild shift kit and a 2200? rpm stall. My question is will the c4 flexplate work on the c6? i dont know much about ford automatic transmissions, 2 people said yes and 2 said no, and i have found several different answers on the net too.
Thanks, Steve

re: c4 to c6
I may be repeating others, but the general rule of thumb is that the flex plate for small blocks I6's included, are the same. Hope this helps, Kevin
