My '72 short bed has flex-o-matic rear leafs on it. Did all flexo springs come with the overload springs too? Do all '72 frames with flexo springs have the overload brackets rivited to the frame if it doesn't have overload springs?

No. The overload springs were an option.

No. Trucks without overloads didn't even have the frame drilled for the brackets.

Someone must have ordered this thing, it's got a 9 3/8", 31 splined, 3.50:1 traction lock pumpkin and flex-o-matic leafs with overload springs.
Huge axle bearings, too. I had trouble getting the right ones, they're # RUB1580-EBFR
