What do you guys think a working factory AM/FM radio is worth?

re: AM/FM Radio
The bumpside-era AM/FM radios that I've seen come through E-bay usually get between $75-$250, depending on it's condition.

re: AM/FM Radio
From what year? the 71-72s have been known to go for a pretty penny.
If your looking to buy one, make sure you dont get a later era one thats been modified to fit in some way.
There is currently one on ebay that claims to be a 68-72 f100 am/fm. the thing is its set at $250 and its not from our trucks. The radio is out of a car from the same time frame and doesnt fit the bezel properly, though it would no doubt still work.
This is the correct Am/Fm from 71-72
For the record, im looking for one of these radios.

Is this one the car one or a truck one?

that would be from a car i believe. Our radios didnt have that small silver slider under the buttons. If you look really close at the glass on that radio, youll see part of a Ford logo under the top of the bezel. This type of radio is much more common, and shows often. I believe it to be from the 73-77 era but may be wrong.
Ebay has not treated my search for this particular radio well. Its is fairly rare that the correct one shows up.

if you guys would please examinnnne the knobs that are displayed on the radios for sale. they can tell you which years they came out of. the shinny center ones are the 68-72 knobs. the black center ones probably came from a car or maybe a dentside. the radios from dentsides just wont fit in our bezels though. ive tried. but the knobs will interchange.

The one with the slider. That is for AM or FM. The one without the slider is AM only and was made for our trucks. I don't think that FM would even fit in your dash. It may. I kept the one out of the '83 but I'm not sure where I put it. I was going to try and put it in mine if I could find it but I think that I may have thrown it away.

no no no... theres the big slider above the buttons for am.fm
71-72 Fm was a factory option for us. but in 73 the radio size changed and added that little slider UNDER the buttons...
So, which did you have in your 83? the smaller one without the second slider, or the larger one with it????
IF the smaller unit was in the 83s it makes finding one for ours even easier. Im thinking you had that larger unit with dual sliders?

re: AM/FM Radio
Here is one I just bought on ebay for 50.00 plus shipping. It didn't get any other bids. I thought it was a good deal. Gets my bump just a little closer to original and it suits me just fine b/c I'm a big ditto head.

re: AM/FM Radio
Yea, that's probably why it did't get any other bids. I'm a big right wing conservative so I only need to get Rush Limbaugh and a few of the sports stations.
