well i got the release spring mounted all up and pressed my clutch in and i found that my clutch goes to easiley to the floor and it also stays there when release.. counting to press the clutch i feel it grabbing but it doesn't come up far enough like it use to.... i made sure i had all the bolts in and everything whats casuing this to happen? and how do i fix it?

Have you adjusted the free play ? If so I'm thinking the throwout bearing is cocked and jammed up. Hope I'm wrong

The rod from the Z-bar to the clutch release arm has an adjuster built into it. Lengthen the adjuster until you have about an inch of pedal travel before you feel any resistance. You do it a few dozen times and you can adjust without even touching the pedal.

re: clutch question
Here's a photo that might help (thanks to someone for the photo). Anyhow, the adjusting rod is laying down (yellow arrow). It goes into the indentation in the clutch arm (red arrow) and is adjusted by screwing it one way or the other.
