68 f-100 owner

Post by btgold29 »

hey every body, this is an awsome web site and was a big help in restoring my truck. i put a 466 big block in my truck with a tremec 5 speed and a strange engineering center section, detroit locker 4.11 gears and 35 sline axles. on the dyno the engine made 542 hp and 535 lbs of torque. i modified some traction bars to work on my truck, and im pretty happy with them so far. i have some 325,50 r15 bfgoodrich drag radials on it now and it hooks pretty hard. i plan on going to the drag strip next week and i'll let you know what the times are. does any one know how much a short bed fleet side f-100 wieghts with a big block? im thinking around 3500 or so
