automatic vac

how would my fmx automatic transmission act if it had no vac. modulator on it?

would it drive in forward and reverse?
69 F100 81' 302 / 73' fmx

I'd rather go hunting with Dick Cheney than go driving with Kennedy

It would drive in either but you'd be limited to first gear. And it would be doggy/jumpy when you accelerate.

i think that i'm hosed then.

i drove my truck a little bit without the vac line, and now it doesn't go in reverse, and it dies when i put it in drive

put the hose back on and try again
if you have put it back on then try rplacing the modulator.
