quick trans question

i have a np435 from my 68 f250 (divorced t-case and all), and want to put it in my 2wd 67, which has a 3 spd right now... its just bolt in right?

I believe so, except for the hole you have to cut in the floor for the shifter on the NP435.

Different bell maybe. Call the auto store to see if there is a different pressure plate and disk. I do believe you will run into length issues. The 435 that come out of 4x4 have the short output shafts.

There are 435 trannys that have the long tail shaft for 2wd applications.
