How exactly do you replace just the buckle as I was pretty sure both ends of the belt are lapped over and double stitched to prevent it from sliding out of the buckle? :hmm:

Your right, but I only need the top plastic part (although I'm not sure how to get them apart yet) The chrome on my drive side is flaking off so I want to replace it. mine are green but color doesn't matter if I can strip it down to the chrome unit.

I have several chrome buckle covers as mentioned with good chrome. You can buy an exact color of our interior from NPD and paint the plastic piece yourself. Price is $20 each plus shipping.
