Rear reflector mystery

Post by capeclassics »

The rear reflectors (under the Taillites) on my 70 Sport Custom seem to be bigger than "stock".One has a BB hole in it and I ordered a replacement from LMC which turned out to be smaller than the ones I have.Mine are approx 4.25 inches highX3.25 across the top X 2.25 inches across the bottom.
I like the ones that are on there, just need to find out what they are so I can get me a new left lens.

Them are probably them,390...Cape's truck is the 1970 two-tone featured in my gallery, and there's a good picture of them on one of the rear shots....As a matter of fact, when I first posted my gallery, before I sold the truck to Cape,Keith said something like(I'm paraphrasing here)"Nice truck,blah-blah,but how's come you got the wrong rear reflectors on your truck?" ....Anyway,those aren't the original reflectors, they're from a junkyard(better than what I had)and I don't know what year they came off of...

Which reminds me,Keith,I've been meaning to update my gallery and delete Cape's truck out of it,since it's technically, legally and every other which way his,but I still like to reminisce over the pics once in a while...Is there a way to transfer the pics of his truck that are in my gallery to his gallery?(that is if Cape wants to)....
This is the point...I'm....talking about everybody! I'm talking about form! I'm talking about content! I'm talking about interrelationships! I'm talking about God, the devil, hell, heaven!!!! Do you understand???? Finally!!!!

Well jd it just shows to go you!

If there's a part number on it all doubt will be removed.

FORD uses "Smart" Part Numbers. You know with a Prefix, Infix, and Suffix that serve a useful and absolutely necessary purpose.

I can't transfer the pics, but he can save them to his computer and then upload them into his album. Once he does that you can delete the copies in your album. (No need to have multiple identical pictures taking up server space.)

Nope Paul, them ain't it....close tho.I'll see if I can get a number off the lens tommorow.Did I say that I was surprised that they might not be original????Geeesh,I could swear I just said that there weren't.Duh.
Hey Joe....I think I "saved" the pics from your gallery on my puter so you can delete them.By the way Joe,as I said,I like the reflectors that are there.
OK Keith...assuming I did save the pics properly(big assumption)...how do I get them to appear on the Gallery??
