quick question for you guys as I'm trying to determine if my engine is original, and original to the truck.
my truck is a 1967 f100 long bed 2wd.
block casting number is c6me-a, measured a 3.5 inch stroke. according to truck vin it came with a 352 from factory.
so it looks like it is likely the original engine. however the heads im unsure of.
head casting numbers are c7ae-a, could these have been original to the engine and truck?
I haven't found any solid info on the web about the heads.
Thanks

Re: 352 fe casting numbers
The date code for the block is between the oil filter adapter and the oil pan rail
The date code for the heads is under the valve cover
The intake has a date code
The distributor has a date code
The exhaust manifold has a date code
The timing cover has a date code
Add them all together to find out when it was all cast
