95 F350 ford engine

Found the above truck for cheep. Has the fuel injected 460 rebuilt and a good tranny. Would there be any benefit to pulling out the 360/C6 from my F250 and put this in? I am not going to be using this truck to haul anything, its been retired.

I'm thinking not really. If the 360/C6 combo is working for you and is in sound mechanical condition, why go through all the work? I sometimes think about doing this very swap, EFI, OD trans, a little more power etc. My 390/C6 combo works great, gives me zero problems, and hauls loads that are sometimes way over what it's rated for. I have to tell myself the old saying; "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Just my .

Build ya a good 390. Have more pep than the smogger 460. they were only 225 like 385 ft lbs later years. Big blocks are great early years with high compression and all.

Only if the 360 is not healthy. Otherwise you might put the truck on Craigslist for someone else to use.
