Load-O-Matic Carburetor/Distributor

I have discovered my 67 240 engine has a Load-O-Matic distributor but the carb apparently is a conventional style with no spark control valve. It has a blank hole but no threads for the control valve.

I have a few options: Find a Load-O-Matic carburetor, modify it to Load-O-Matic specs or find a conventional distributor with mechanical advance. Seems like finding a distributor would be easier.

But first, I would like to know if it's possible to determine what the truck originally came with. That would have a bearing on what my next step would be.

Any Load-O-Matic experts out there?
