I don't know what it's called but I need to remove the little knob part that the door closes on. It is the part on the cab not on the door. There doesn't seem to be any fastner holding it.

It's called a striker and it's really just a threaded bolt. Just grab it with a big pair of pliers or channel locks and it will unscrew.
